· Give spiritual help - Ziporah / Moses Exodus 4:25
· Fulfil God’s call - Malachi 2:15
Mission statement for couple = sum total of the individuals
Example - A Pastor who sees himself as called and his wife is not called.
2. Prerequisites
· Christian couple
· Mission statement - Sense of God’s call
What is your mission in life?
3. Examples:
· Adam & Eve - Genesis 1:28 Multiply and fill the earth
One cannot and should not do it alone
· Abraham & Sarah - Genesis 12:4-5 - Go to Canaan but not alone
Leave wife and ministry affected = time lost enroute
· Priscilla & Aquila - Acts 18: 24-26 Use home to teach (Appolos)
4. Benefits of ministering as a family
· Biological Church growth
· Avoid sin (dealing with opposite sex)
· Synergy = higher output
· Can reach all ages and sex
· Counselling of youth
· Home based - Neighbourhood Bible study + Bible club + Literature(Library), etc.

3. Example of beneficiaries from this type of ministry
4. Is the wife’s role only praying for the ministering husband?
5. What is the place of children in a ministering family?
